When you create a Clanimo account we store your email address, role (breeder or buyer), and profile details you provide — such as cattery name, location, species, and bio for breeders, or name and location for buyers.
When you list animals or litters we store the details you enter including photos, breed, gender, and health information. When you submit or receive an adoption application we store the contact details and screening answers provided.
When a placement is confirmed, we generate a Certificate of Adoption linked to a unique token. The buyer's email and adoption details are stored to populate that certificate. Health records attached to a pet passport are stored on Clanimo and accessible via the certificate link.
All data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway. Animal photos are stored as URLs you provide. Records are retained until you delete them or close your account.
Certificate payments are processed by Stripe. Clanimo never stores your card details — they are handled entirely by Stripe. We receive a confirmation event from Stripe when a payment completes, which we use to unlock your certificate.
Clanimo uses two essential cookies — sb_access and sb_refresh — to keep you signed in. We don't use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
